Riot Platforms与Anthropic签91亿美元算力协议，股价大涨

All right. Let's start with riot platforms. This is the bitcoin mining company that sells AI data center capacity stock up more than 30% today. The ticker symbol is riot. Riot. It has struck a $9.1 billion deal with anthropic. Uh, this is for 191MW of computing from Riot's Rockdale, Texas campus. And the agreement runs all the way through June of 2048. I looked it up. I thought, wow, could that be a typo? No. It runs through 2048 and includes an option to extend the contract, which could potentially mean over $16 billion in total sales for riot.

Oh, by the way, riot beat on sales in the second quarter, in part because of its data center business. So it's a bitcoin mining company that's repositioning itself as a I data, I guess. So talk about a little bit of diversification to two hot two hot spaces there. All right. I also chose Rocket Lab uh, ticker symbol, their RKO lab. The stock is trading down about 4% here pre-market after the company, uh, indicated that its new Tron vehicle may not be ready to launch this year.

Uh, it had. It's now saying it's possibly going to be able to launch this last quarter of 2026. Uh, just a couple months ago, it said it was going to be able to, uh, debut this rocket this year. This rocket has had problems in the past. They're trying to have it compete with SpaceX's Falcon nine, uh, and other rockets of similar size and performance. Uh, but the company also gave an outlook for adjusted earnings that is weaker than expected.

So Rocket Lab, uh, under some pressure here this morning. And Babcock and Wilcox. Well, here we go. Old school. There we go. Akron, Ohio. Uh, based company shares up 34%. Uh, the maker of power generation equipment reporting revenues for the second quarter. Uh, that far? Uh, you know, it blew past estimates. I mean, revenue of three, a nearly 320 million estimates for for under 200 million. So nice gain. They're also entering an agreement with Siemens, uh, for work on 20 steam turbine generators.

There you go, Manley company. Exactly. Exactly like this company. It's a derivative. I play, I'm guessing you got to have the power. Could you see Alex is doing, like, a stock movers on into kind of copper? Sure. Yeah, I like that. Minnesota mining and Minnesota mining and manufacture. This. Babcock and Wilcox. Talk about more. I do wait, can I make one quick correction? Riot. I confused riot with Babcock. Riot is up 17%.

I said it was up 30. I mean, it's still up a lot, but not as much as I said. Uh, yeah. Really quick. Uh, on holding. That's the Swiss sneaker maker trying to say that I do that. Um, second quarter sales lower than expected. They held off on discounting their older shoes to make way for product updates in the U.S..

Basically, bottom line is they don't want to cut prices. Yeah, that's hurting them. I don't have a pair of these on hold here. So what is up here? We got to do something about that.
