Let's take a look at some stocks on the move today. I'm Karen Moscow. We're joined now by Bloomberg's Dan Curtis. Dan, good morning. We've been talking a lot about the surprise election results in Brazil. Markets are reacting. What are you seeing this morning?

Morning. That's right. There's a lot of Brazilian linked stocks trading in the pre-market. I'll go through a lot. There's a lot a lot of red on the screen there. But yeah, as you've been talking about all morning, Lula won another term. That's after the first round saw Bolsinaro, which I think the politically friendly way of saying it is he's generally considered more market friendly. So, he lost uh despite the the first round seeing him beat out Lula.

So, a bit of a surprise. Markets are quickly repricing this morning. There's a lot of names in the red. I'll go through just a few. So, top so one of the most traded Brazilian names, new holdings, uh, ticker NU, that's down 22% in the pre-market. It's a digital bank and fintech company. XP, Inc., ticker XP, is down nearly 50% right now. It's down 47.4% in the pre-market. It's an investment management company. That one really getting hit.

Then also keeping my eye on Marcato Libre, that's down 9%, not so bad. It's uh basically called the Amazon of the Latin of Latin America, which gives you a good sense of what you of what they do. Uh so a lot of just these Brazilian link stocks really tumbling in the pre-market today.

All right. Well, outside of the Brazil election, we're looking at Tesla and that stock is gaining this morning.

It's up 2% uh after it was upgrade to overweight from equal weight at Barkclays. Analyst Dan Levy notes the potential of a SpaceX merger. We've been hearing this talked about a lot and even last week BNP Perryba upgraded saying that the merger potential was the sole reason they saw it as uh more attractive. Um but that said uh Barkclay's also noting a few other noting a few other points. They say the there's an improved trajectory in the uh EV market for this company and also a possible inflection point for robo taxis.

Overall though the stock has 31 buys, 24 holds, five sells. So, we're anywhere from consensus on the stock, but we're seeing a bit more upside gain this morning.

All right. And there's some Neocloud movement as well, right after we heard from Elon Musk.

That's right. So, the boss of Tesla is pressuring Neoclouds this morning. So, uh he took to X. Musk took to X. He claimed that SpaceX had closed a $40 billion debt deal to pay for chips. Uh sources did push back saying that conversations remain ongoing. A deal hasn't been priced. But while he was talking about that, he also went on to say, "The debt markets have have nearly shut off all funding for companies that don't have substantial revenues independent of data centers."

So that's really hitting the neoclouds, which are these uh basically AI focused data centers. Uh Musk literally said, quote, "That means the 200 plus Neoclouds are going to see some guppy level death and consolidation." So this is a lot of pressure on the names. Stocks like Coreweave down 4%, Nebius down three and a half percent, Applied Digital down 2.6%, 6% and he's also saying Musk said he wouldn't come to the rescue.

Absolutely. So, keeping an eye on this one. Uh shares are up 23%. Bond Secures Mercy Health is in late stage talks to buy a majority stake in Surgery Partners. That's according to the FT. And the deal potentially $20 a share. It's at just under just over $19 a share in the pre-market. So, some deal news to keep an eye on. The Stock Movers Report from Bloomberg Radio.
