This is a Bloomberg money minute. Higher oil is igniting inflation fears again. The five year US Treasury yield his top 5% for the first time in 20 years. Federal Reserve Governor Michael Barr says further interest rate increases are likely needed to return inflation to the central bank's 2% target. Ma's outlook follows a string of warnings from fellow policy makers that inflation remains too high, and more evidence the US economy is running too hot.

McDonald's has committed to spending $8.5 billion to help franchisees implement a multi-year plan to serve better food and improve service.
