Let's bring in Tatiana Darier right now for a check of our stocks on the move. This is Bloomberg Intelligence. Tatiana, what are you looking at? Well, looking at crypto related stocks because they are rallying today with Coinbase up about 10% but also Robin Hood, Maro Holdings, Circle Internet Group, the whole group after the SEC gave the green light for trading for certain tokenized stocks. This would be digital tokens that mimic shares of listed companies.

And the big news is that they issued guidance for a five-year plan that shows that market regulators are finally ready to move forward with a digital asset regulation after a landmark bill failed uh in a key Senate vote here on Tuesday. And this order, which is effective immediately, will exempt so-called tokenized security venues from certain regulations that apply to stock exchanges. So for the market, this is really uh a major regulatory unlock for crypto firms and particularly after that blow earlier this week.

Uh the SEC here is essentially bringing blockchain based trading

closer to the equity market

and Bitcoin up 5 and a half% today 80,700. Uh what else?

Some relief there. Uh Netflix shares down about 4% the most in two months earlier after receiving its uh bearish analy first bearish analyst in months. So we have a seller rating here from Wells Fargo Securities citing worrying engagement trends for their products. The analysts are concerned that Netflix has lacked big original series and they say it is showing in results for them to reclaim some sort of momentum. They need breakout hits uh or you know to come up with some uh big new show for the stock to work again and I mean uh that is certainly those worries are reflected in the stock.

If look uh even over the past year from July that stock is down by nearly 50%.

What's the last Netflix show you watched? I was trying to think about that too.

Yeah. I don't know. I'm watching Netflix now but I'm old stuff like stuff I'm just catch like a Better Call Saul is what I'm watching.

Oh that's a great one.

Yes. So I just finished uh season one. Anyway, I'm catching up mode.

I can't remember. I I just finished watching Vladimir with Rachel Vice which was pretty good.

Has got like two little She's not watching two little kids. She's not watching.

She has no time. Okay. What do you have? What else do you have?

Uh new car shares down 6% here. We talked about still dynamics earlier. Uh the same sort of dynamics in their results, their profit uh forecast missed the average analyst estimates and analysts are saying that for new particularly it missed by a wider margin following the recent outperformance. They're blaming partly higher input costs that are just rising a lot more rapidly than output costs. uh so signs of margin pressures worsening there.

Their release specifically points to raw materials uh earnings expected to decline on lower pricing and shipments. So uh kind of the same trends that we heard from steel dynamics. JP Morgan here with a more optimistic take saying that perhaps management is just being slightly conservative because the solid the fundamental backdrop remains solid uh amid the tariffs. Uh nonetheless here uh these uh stocks uh are uh under pressure a little bit but generally a very very solid run this year.
