The Stock Movers Report, your roundup of companies making moves in the stock market, harnessing the power of Bloomberg data.

Well, let's take a look at some of the stocks on the move today in Europe. I'm T Adabio with Caroline Hepka and we're joined by Bloomberg's breaking news editor, Louise Moon. Well, it seems like Bank of America's Brian Moyan is the talk of the markets today. How has his warnings affected European finance stocks?

Well, they're they're echoing what was uh what happened in the US after his comments and so essentially declining. So, European banks leading the declines across Europe. As you say, he warned of a slowdown in trading revenue, saying it would be relatively flat compared to last year's third quarter. Um, and that's obviously quite unexpected. there's been a surge from Wall Street um in the first half. So as I say the US slipped, Bank of America for example down more than 6% overnight and then in Europe the overall stock 600 financial services index is down and then the bank sub sector within that is also dropping.

So if you talk of individual stocks we've got UBS more than 4% lower, Deutsch Bank 3% lower, BNP Parab and Barclay's over 1% lower. So it's really dragging down uh banks across the board.

Yeah. Um, everybody sort of thought that with continued volatility in markets that you would have another strong quarter for financials. So, this was maybe one of the first indicators that maybe that might not be the case. Uh, let's think about other stocks moving then. Polish aluminium products and packaging maker, a company called Ketti is making a a big purchase. Uh, what do we know about it? It is indeed. So, this it's it's um acquiring an Italian company called Metra.

And this is um Kendy's largest ever acquisition um which is making it one of the best performing stocks in Europe this morning. So it initially rose u more than about 8%. Analysts are saying it will help it expand into new products into new markets and crucially within that the US. Um and then in terms of the valuation uh brokers are largely positive about that. Um as I say it's their largest ever acquisition. It's a shift from their what what they has predominantly been quite an organic growth strategy so far.

Um so it is given that that there is that shift there's some execution in kind of integration risks but overall the the market is taking this really positively yeah shares up more than 8% uh 9%.

Well Louise we're going to stick with deals now and talk about the cosmetics giant Pooge. Tell us why you're watching them. So yeah, another M&A uh to note this morning, they've agreed to buy the remaining 50% um of a skincare brand that uh that they didn't already own. So it's called ISDN. Uh they're buying that for 1.2 billion. Um so it gives it full control. Uh the this company sells a whole host of things from sun creams to lotions to skin treatments and essentially gives Poo a bigger presence in the skincare market.

It already owns Charlotte Tilbury. Um, but traditionally skincare has been the smallest part of its business. So, it's a real push into that for them. Uh, shares did actually fall uh over 3%, but if you look back in terms of their year to date, it only slightly offsets overall gains this year. They've had quite a strong first half. They beat expectations. So, it's only slightly offsetting that. And also it pales in comparison to a drop it experienced in May when talks with Estee Lauder about potential deal there fell through.

So slight drops but in the kind of scheme um of things not not the biggest of drops.
