[music] We are joined by Bloomberg News Equities reporter Avalon Pernell for stocks on the move. Let's take a look at some stocks on the move. How are you?

Yes, pretty good. I mean, we have to start off with Amazon, which is not as great of a story. Uh, it's ticker AMZN, currently falling nearly 3% most intraday in a little over a month. And that's after the Wall Street Journal reports that the FTC is planning to file a lawsuit against the e-commerce giant, alleging that the company manipulated the prices that businesses pay to advertise on its platform. FTC officials also telling the journal that they expect more than 20 state attorney generals to also join this lawsuit.

Worth noting as well that the trade desk shares edged up a little bit because of this report for those unfamiliar that company's ad technology competes with Amazon's platform as well.

All right, so a little bit of a legal trouble there for uh Amazon.

Yeah, AMZN is the ticker as you mentioned Avalon. And once again uh the US FTC preparing to sue Amazon over claims the company misled advertisers. Uh our Bloomberg team out with a story about this as well.

Yeah. Well, speaking of legal issues, uh, looks like Edison is another one that is sort of having a similar but different kind of problem. Tell us about it.

Exactly. That's ticker EIX. It's currently sinking about 23% most intraday since 2018. And that's after the California legislature rejected Governor Nuome's efforts to limit how much money people could recover from utilities companies like an Edison International when their equipment causes fires. And so instead, the bill on Saturday that they reached kind of has a lot of those measures just kind of taken out. Jeffree seeing really no material legislative benefit for California utilities, noting that the state bill kind of just delivered marginal improvements.

Investors were really hoping that the legislation would kind of socialize wildfire risk and establish a permanent liability cap and reform. Instead, you're seeing Edison be one of the biggest laggers on the S&P 500 this afternoon.

PG&E is also taking a hit. Pacific Gas and Electric as it's formerly known uh holding company that handles power down 18 and a half% as well. Same reason.

Exactly. Exactly.

Okay. So, uh let's go now to the green tractor.

Yes. Deer, that's ticker de. There is a couple of spots of things to highlight. It's currently gaining about 3.2% 2% and that's after bear turned bullish on agricultural like machinery companies by upgrading deer to outperform from neutral. The analysts also highlighting that they expect that agriculture is set to enter into an early cycle recovery beginning next year. This echoes what we've already heard from deer management on their earnings calls even earlier this month where they were also saying that they expect 2026 to mark the bottom of the current egg cycle.

So definitely something that we're going to keep a look on. Very interesting though how that story is going to play out with the tariff situation once again reviving jitters over trade right US and Canada back at it.

Yeah I mean I think that's the challenging thing if you're a farmer in this country

is planning for what things look like in the next couple of years. You don't know about China soybean purchases.

Uh you perhaps don't know how much beef the US is going to import from other parts of the world. So yeah, it's a I think it's for many decades it's been a challenging time to be a farmer, but it's all challenging time right now [music] as well. The Stock Movers Report from Bloomberg Radio.
