I'm going to do something we don't normally do and take a look at an actual sector. So, these are drone-related companies based here in the US. So, we're talking about companies like AeroVironment, uh Red Cat, Kratos Defense and Security. All of these stocks seeing really nice gains this morning. This is because President Trump announced a slate of tariffs on imports of drones and their components. He says this is to address national security threats, uh especially from China, the president says.

So, the duties are tiered, a 100% tariff on larger drones uh with military-sensitive abilities, 25% levy on smaller drones are going to take effect uh 21 days after the signing. And so, we're seeing a a big bump up in US uh companies that deal in the drone space.

That's big. I mean, uh drones, we're seeing it in the Ukraine, how important they've been

in warfare. And they're probably cutting-edge, those folks over there.

just say I think it's frightening?

Yeah.

Like like scary. I mean, there's just no other way to put it.

You know, cuz then you'd watch Woody Woodpecker before and then Flintstones afterward.

hour and a half trifecta where your mother could ignore you. Next.

All right. Applied Materials, AMAT is your ticker symbol, down 6%. But guess what? Year-to-date, it's up 108%. It reported third-quarter net income of 2 and a half billion. Revenue more than nine billion. It's looking to ramp up its manufacturing capacity to meet continued chip solutions demand. And apparently these numbers were not good enough for Wall Street. Didn't impress them. So you know good not being good enough.

We see it all the time especially in the tech and the chip space. So Applied Materials coming under some pressure. Also want to move over to Gemini because Gemini space station. So this is the you know digital asset platform led by the Winklevoss twins the billionaires. Yeah so they went public last year just before the crypto market tumbled from record highs. Talk about timing right? So shares of Gemini down six and a half percent.

They posted a fourth consecutive quarterly loss since the IPO. The second quarter loss was a hundred and seven million dollars. Revenue increased thirty seven million. And the company's prediction markets revenue totaled five hundred thousand in the quarter.

Okay.

Yep but their assets dropped fifty four percent. The company blamed the decline in crypto prices and outflows from its institutional custody business. So Gemini still getting its feet under it I guess.

And if we have time for one more do you think we do? Oh Reddit it's coming to the S&P 500. So before tomorrow's opening bell the social media site should be added. What is it?
