So, uh, and the and the economy, I should say Edward Gardini of Gardini Research was on Bloomberg Television. And on this day before the midterm election, the Trump administration is asking the U.S. Supreme Court to order California to set aside as many as 20,000 Mail-In ballots because the administration questions the citizenship status of those voters. Ballot counting is already underway in California. Our other top story, anthropic, reported third quarter revenue of nearly $17 billion as of September 30th.

That is a 12 fold increase versus the same period a year ago. The firm had a $23.3 billion net loss in the three months through the end of September, versus a $12.1 billion net loss in the same period last year. Met with Eiler is head of late stage growth at Wellington Management, which has been an investor of anthropic since last year. One growth remains incredibly high for this business. Its growing 1,200% year over year two.

The company remains profitable, so they're doing this and generating all this revenue not to no end, but to real operating profit. And three, the company is setting out to commit to large commits of spend over the coming decade. And that's all in support of the demand that they're seeing. Matt, with with Wellington investment on Bloomberg Tech, anthropic has filed for an IPO that is set to take place before Thanksgiving seeking to meet or exceed the amount SpaceX raised in its $86.2 billion debut in one of the biggest tech tie ups ever.

Marvell technology reached a deal to buy aluminium holdings at an enterprise value of $115 billion. That deal is expected to close in the first half of 2028. Lumen atom shares are 13% lower and Marvell shares are down 8%. That is what's dragging down the Philadelphia Semiconductor index sits down 3/10 of a percent. The Dow up 1%. The ten year Treasury yield at 4.87%, the two year yield at 4.57%, and the 30 year Treasury yield at 5.24%. Now, alphabet is set to raise €6 billion in its second euro bond sale this year, offering higher yields than in its May offering after concerns over AI spending drove a credit market selloff. Alphabet shares are more than 1% higher. Oracle is raising $20 billion in debt and equity to finance its AI infrastructure spending.

Oracle shares now 6% lower. And meta is holding calls for a multi dollar and euro bond sale. Shares are less than 1% lower. We're also waiting for Apple and Palantir earnings after the bell. Turning now to Iran, Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei has given the government the go ahead to hold peace talks, signaling a potential diplomatic opening as fears of a renewed conflict with the U.S. and Israel grow. Iran's President Masood possession says the supreme leader has also granted certain powers to the government.

He didn't say what those powers are. Oil slumped the most since August after Washington and Tehran signaled openness to talks. The development compounded bearish momentum that followed reports that President Trump had told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu he wanted to let talks with Iran play out. Crude oil prices now more than 7% lower. WTI nearing $97 a barrel. Brent crude closing in on $105 a barrel and diesel fuel averaging $6.29 a gallon.

A federal judge in Washington has dismissed a criminal complaint against two former FBI officials, accused of falsely downplaying their knowledge of a laptop that the Justice Department says belonged to Hunter Biden. The judge's decision followed a hearing in which he scolded those prosecutors. The Justice Department may still have a chance to pursue a grand jury indictment against those two former FBI officials.
