Elon Musk Will Give SpaceX Shares to ‘Every Kid in America’
We had a post on x just before we went to air from Elon Musk saying he's going to give a SpaceX chair to quote every kid in America. It doesn't say born in America. It doesn't say if there are any restrictions on what children will get one of these chairs, but what kind of a movement is this, Matt, to get children involved in the stock market, but in particular companies? Yeah. You know, it's kinda similar to the the the Trump, accounts we've seen that, you know, funded by Michael Dell.

And, you know, I think there's clearly a a degree of philanthropy going on here trying to kind of balance the kind of the hard nosed capitalist profit seeking motive of all these big companies. And, actually, they are looking to kinda deliver some social benefit from the the vast kind of valuations that they've been benefited from, particularly, Elon Musk. You know, we're obviously seeing similar moves from Anthropic to, pledging 5%, of the company's shares into a public benefit fund.
