System packages are disabled and stay installed. It backs everything up first, and if something breaks, the restore script puts it back. Before it touches Netflix, the voice assistant, casting or system updates, it asks whether you still use them.

Android TV and Google TV only (Sony, TCL, Hisense, Xiaomi and the like); Samsung, LG and Fire TV won't work. Your computer needs JDK 17 and the Android SDK. On the TV, press Build seven times in About, then turn on USB debugging in Developer options. So far the author has only tested it on one Xiaomi TV.
