Another Tesla scam? The flying Roadster edition
Tesla demoed the new Roadster last night. It flips in the air now.
Quick reminder. This car was announced in 2017, was supposed to ship in 2020, and is now "production in 2028." Tesla is happily taking $50k and $250k deposits in the meantime. That's a decade-long, interest-free loan from customers for a car that may never exist.
Honestly, I think it's insane. But you've got to hand it to them, the marketing is creative. A car doing backflips gets more headlines than any earnings report ever will.
