Apple to Release AI Platform in Mainland China

We do need to get some breaking news. This is on Apple, said to be preparing to debut its first AI features in China this December. Mark Gurman joins us right now. Mark, what do we know? Yeah. This is a pretty big development for Apple. Obviously, you know that Mainland China is one of its biggest and most important markets. It's a hypermarket. The AI technology there is extremely competitive. The first time Apple will be able to roll out its initial set of Apple intelligence features.

These were the ones introduced nearly two years ago. This does not exclude... Or this does not include Siri AI or some of the new AI features as part of iOS 27, but this will roll out in China also without image generation in December of this year in partnership with companies including Alibaba and Baidu. Apple executives have little optimism that Siri AI will launch in China anytime soon, but I do believe that the new AI features in The US, things like expanding images and better writing tools will eventually come to that market as well.
