All right, let's get to some stocks on the move on this Monday. I'm Carol Massar, along with Tim Stenovec. Here to do that with us is Bloomberg News US Equities Reporter, he is Matthew Griffin, joining us here in studio. And we're going to start with Accenture.

Yes, well, Carol, Accenture is getting a boost from all of this talk about AI safety that we've seen over the last couple weeks, and specifically from this announcement late on Friday that they are going to embed Accenture evaluators in Anthropic to try to make sure those models are safe. We don't know a ton of details yet. We also

What are they going to do exactly, right? Nobody knows quite yet, right?

Well, apparently they're going to be making sure the AI models are aligned with human goals. So, it does at least sound more interesting than Office Space, if, you know,

Well, what about the AI model that comes out and says, "Hey, Accenture, I like what you're wearing today. So, like, the model's just fine, leave me alone." Like, I'm just saying.

Matthew, I'm sorry. So, go ahead. But, Accenture's moving.

Yes, that stock, so that's ticker ACN, up about 3%, and analysts are not changing their models here. They say they don't really see revenue upside. This company actually had an agreement with Anthropic already, but what our colleagues at Bloomberg Intelligence say is this is just some positive evidence about the role of these IT companies in the AI future. So, that that always gives you a little bit of optimism, at least on a sentiment level.

Okay, so interesting ACN Accenture on the move to the upside. So too is WBD.

Yes, so Warner Brothers, that stock getting a boost after Paramount Skydance settled these lawsuits from state attorneys general and from the Writers Guild. That basically closes the uh it it opens the path to closing the deal, the $110 billion deal to buy Warner Brothers and that what we're seeing today is just the collapse of the deal spread there. My colleague Eamon Shan has an item out on the Bloomberg terminal.

The stock uh it closed on Friday more than $3 below that $31 a share offer price. Now, you look at it today, it's trading just 20 cents below.

And here we are. Um all right, let's go to something this this next name has been on my radar as well. It's one of my gainers today.

Critical Metals. Yes, this is a smaller company but making big waves in the market today up more than 30% they own a critical mineral a rare earth element deposit in Greenland and traders are basically speculating that they will benefit from this agreement between the US and Denmark over Greenland's security, that that's going to somehow speed up that deal there. Now, we don't know all the details there yet, but we're supposed to get a formal agreement this week alongside the UN General Assembly meeting in New York.

So, that's something I will be watching for.

I think what's fascinating, too, is that despite the big bump to the upside, now it's about just under a $9 a share stock, but it's up, as you said, about 31% uh in today's session. It's still only up 27% year-to-date, and and the float, there's about 31% of the float is short.

These critical mineral stocks, this one, ticker CRM L, they're really volatile. I mean, they can move, you know, other companies have gotten these government stakes that sends the stocks popping, and then they can sell off quickly, very uh sharp upside, sharp downside sometimes there.

Quite a big move, no doubt about it today.
