Bessent to Meet He Lifeng Ahead of Trump-Xi Summit
Scott Bessent and He Lifeng will be meeting along with Jamieson Greer, the US trade representative, and some of the negotiators from the Chinese side. We're hearing from the FT that it's gonna be in New York on Sunday, but we have reporting that it's gonna be this weekend. So sort of an ADHD approach to these, you know, delayed, procrastination to get to real high level talks ahead of and maybe kind of negotiate some of those deliverables, for the next Thursday when they meet.
