This is a Bloomberg money minute. Big gains today on Wall Street a big turnaround from yesterday. That's thanks to oil prices dipping slightly easing pressures on the bond market and with investors getting on board. But yesterday's Federal Reserve rate hike to lower inflation. Even with its signals that another rate hike could happen this year if needed. With that, the Dow today rose 316 points, up two thirds of a percent.

The Nasdaq was the big gainer thanks to gains in chipmakers and other AI related stocks. It shot up 440 points are one and two thirds percent gain. The S&P was up 86. That's a rise of more than 1%. Oil closed slightly lower. It ended at 101 91 a barrel. That's on signs that crude supply challenges in the Middle East are starting to show signs of easing up. And the defense division at General Motors making its first delivery of Patriot missile parts to big defense contractor Lockheed Martin.
