I'm Nathan Hager, joined by Bloomberg's John Tucker, starting us off with the most [music] actively traded stock in the pre-market. What is going on with Intel this morning, John? Intel is higher, up over 3% right now. Now, there's a a Reuters report that SKH Highix is in talks with the chipmaker about a deal that would see it manufacture memory chips in the US for the first time.

Now, we're just getting word from SKH High. They're putting out a statement. They're not denying it. They're just saying at this point uh they want to clarify that nothing has been finalized uh regarding cooperation with any specific companies mentioned in this Reuters article or memory chip production in the United States.

Uh this took place uh in an unusual location, a Morgan Stanley conference. They usually don't do that. Uh JB Hunt expects second quarter to third quarter earnings to drop 5 to 10%. Acknowledging they don't usually talk about these interquarter trends.

Now analysts who cover the company say the higher fuel prices and search charges are likely contributing to the near-term negative earnings update. Diesel, by the way, um above $6 a barrel and that uh certainly doesn't help a company like JB Hunt. I would also uh look out keep an eye for other freight companies like FedEx Freight and Old Dominion. They uh should be on the move today as a result of this.

Yeah. Let's do Coinbase in particular. Uh those shares fell what 10% in yesterday's trading. Crypto's long march into mainstream finance well took a step backward yesterday. The Senate failed to advance the Clarity Act. So that denies the industry a chance to turn its uh influence in Washington into fresh rules that could outlast the current Trump administration. A passage of the Clarity Act would have given the market participants a clear understanding of the legal parameters that govern the industry and also a well- definfined pathway for companies deciding whether to invest, expand or strike deals in the US.
