美股期货走高，比特币短暂突破8万美元，加拿大将回应美国关税

This is a Bloomberg money minute. Stock futures are pointing to a higher open today, as a selloff in chipmakers fizzled at closing yesterday. And Bitcoin briefly surged past $80,000. Markets are also watching the U.S. Treasurys next moves, now ahead of a slate of economic data today, including fresh readings of consumer confidence and the housing market after today's opening bell. Later today, Canada's government will announce measures to protect and support its workers and businesses in response to U.S. tariffs.

That includes expanding jobless benefits and loans for businesses affected by these latest levies. Prime Minister Mark Carney says everything's on the table now when it comes to the country's response. And for the first time in almost two years, Apple is gearing up to launch a new version of its Mac mini desktop computer that could be out as soon as a few days, possibly before its big launch event next month to debut new iPhones, Apple Watches, AirPods and a smart home device with a screen that will use facial recognition to identify users.
