The USDC/USDT balance in your wallet is being automatically transferred to EtherFi’s Aave V4 LendGateway, even if you have not used any “earn” or “lending” features.

In simple terms:

1. Previously, your USDT was held in a co-managed Safe multisig wallet. It could generally only be deducted when you made a payment, so the risk was relatively low.

2. Without your knowledge, these funds were moved by EtherFi to Aave to serve as collateral.
