Today, I'm excited to announce that the SEC is taking the most historic step yet to modernize federal securities regulations for crypto assets.

Breaking news, the SEC and its chair, Paul Atkins, have just released the crypto bulls. Today, the SEC officially proposes a new set of rules to create clear crypto regulations in the US. Guys, smash the like button. Let's get this information out there to as many people as possible. This will start alt season. This is ICO season 2.0. This will allow so much money to flow into crypto because we finally have a framework as to how.

Chief Policy Officer at Coinbase writes, "A giant step forward with the SEC's launch of regulation crypto. For years, crypto builders were told to come in and register. The problem was that there was no door designed for how crypto networks actually develop. Thanks to the SEC and its chair, Paul Atkins, clear crypto regulations start today." Crypto lawyer, Jake Chervinsky, writes, "This is a critical step towards clarity for the crypto industry and not one day too soon.

When I took office, I pledged to ensure that the United States remains the crypto capital of the world. For too long, issuers and investors had to navigate an activist SEC weaponized against this asset class. The result has been uncertainty and inefficiency chasing crypto asset innovation outside of the United States. So, today I'm excited to announce that the SEC is taking the most historic step yet to modernize federal securities regulations for crypto assets.

The United States must and will lead. Our new rule proposal, Regulation Crypto Assets, will ensure that we do. Now, let me be clear. The SEC continues to support congressional work on the Clarity Act, and we expect to see the bill reach the president's desk. Under our current statutory authority, we are acting. The work before us is too important. The Commission's March 2026 interpretation explained how a non-security crypto asset may become subject to and how it may cease to be subject to an investment contract, which is a security under law.

Regulation Crypto Assets provides issuers of those investment contracts with a clear path to comply with federal securities laws within those parameters. Today's proposal sits at the center of this Commission's capital formation agenda and is essential to providing a framework for crypto asset fundraising. It is the Commission's answer to the question that has puzzled innovators since the birth of the blockchain. How can I raise capital to develop a crypto asset while I am still working to develop the network where it will be used?

While Congress continues its important work to advance crypto market structure legislation for the president to sign, the world and our markets keep evolving. By moving forward with our current statutory authority, we can help ensure that America remains the world's premier destination to innovate, to raise capital, and to build the next generation of financial infrastructure.

The SEC used to be one of crypto's biggest threats. Who remembers Gary Gensler? Now, it may be one of crypto's biggest tailwinds. What a difference a few years can make. And the market is just starting to price this in. This will make the Senate vote on the Crypto Clarity Act on September 15th at 2:00 p.m. very interesting. Senator Cynthia Lummis says she thinks we move forward with Crypto Clarity September 15th at 2:00 p.m. and it's obvious.

I had a fit and fell in it. And uh Senator Thune was kind enough to actually schedule the bill for February Excuse me, September September uh 50 Look, have a at 2:00 p.m. No, well, we actually have not only a day, but a time. And so, we will move forward on on that date and that time. You know, but the reason that that's so helpful is that as Senator Scott as chairman of the Banking Committee uh can attest, you have to force them to vote to get them to be serious about it.

And it's obvious that so many tailwinds are piling up. Bullish. White House to host a crypto summit tomorrow. Attendees being host Donald Trump, regulators, SEC Chairman Paul Atkins, CFTC Acting Chairman Michael Selig. And of course, what this summit is now kind of being known for is bringing the crypto industry and the TradFi industry together with executives from Coinbase, Ripple, Gemini, Kolshe, Nasdaq, New York Stock Exchange, CME Group, Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation all coming together.

And with the Federal Reserve's FOMC July meeting minutes also scheduled for tomorrow, expect volatility, my friends. Bitcoin is a coiled spring winding up and has been for the last 5 years, says financier and billionaire Anthony Scaramucci, who says, "I think we'll be seeing Bitcoin back over 100K, maybe by the end of the year."

Bitcoin is in the tightest volatility band that it's been in in the last 5 years. It really hasn't moved much at all. I mean, we when the war started in February, it was roughly the same price that it is today. So, it's been grinding, but I think there's a three things going on. One is a lot of the miners have transferred compute power over to AI, which disrupted the hash rate. I don't want to be overly technical with people, but I think that muted some of the the volatility.

The second thing is capital fled the cryptocurrency markets. In addition to Bitcoin, other tokens in the in the in the cryptocurrency markets into AI. And then I think the third thing is if you're a 4-year cycle believer like most people are in in crypto, Bitcoin now is getting towards that end of what we would typically see the bear market of Bitcoin in the 4-year cycle. So, we're now through 2 years and we're about 18 or 19 months away from the next having.

So, all of those factors, I think, have muted Bitcoin's price. But, I guess the real question is are we still bulls on Bitcoin? And the answer is resounding yes. I think as the having cycle comes in again and we cut the supply of coins again, it will tighten price and I think you'll see the thing move back up over 100,000. But, it's going to it's going to grind for a while, Andrew, and people don't like that.

And with Bitcoin's realized volatility being at all-time lows, it does look like a coiled spring that will eventually go pop. Bitcoin is starting to look more and more like it did last bear market when the bottom formed and then flipped. It looks exactly like the 2022 bottom. Thank you all for subscribing to us on X.
