Louise, good morning. Let's start with a look at British [music] mining companies and there's a boost for Fresnillo. Tell us why.

Yes, Fresnillo and really across the boards. We've got Glenor, Anglo-American and Tophagasta all among the biggest scalers on the Footsie 100 this morning. So miners across the board rising twofold. Uh copper is rising towards record highs. There's a lot of competition for supply. Essentially there's been a massive inflow into the US in anticipation of a tariff decision from Trump. So that's leaving less supply elsewhere. and gold is also rising.

So that's obviously helpful for uh pre precious metal miners like Fresnel that you mentioned extending a two-e gain. Um and that's partly thanks to uh a weaker dollar, a weaker US dollar. So overall strong performance for miners. So and and they have quite an outsized influence on the Footsie 100. So it's boosting the Footsie 100 more generally as well.

So they're stopping a trial of a experimental cancer drug. Um so they're saying it didn't look set to fight lung cancer better than therapies already exist. Um and that's a bit of a setback. Essentially the CEO Pascal Soros has been turning Ashen into a bit of a cancer powerhouse. Um this one had already been described by Jeffre as a bit of a long shot. So slight setback there. Also a bit more pressure following negative reactions from potential tie-up talks with Bristol Mayor Squib.

Um earlier this month, shares obviously fell on that news and then rose when when it was said that it wasn't going to be or the talks were no longer happening. So um slightly bit bit more pressure there for the CEO. But as I say, not all bad news. They had two other sets of uh trials published today. So positive late late stage studies um for an already approved drug uh to do also with lung cancer. So share is actually rising.

Yes, shares up as much as 10%. Uh so it reported its latest large and successful trial for its blockbuster drug. So this helps patients with um an immune immune system disease. So at the moment patients have largely relied on steroids which can have big side effects and other immunosuppressants. So this is quite a big step forward in the space. Bloomberg intelligence saying that these results this morning could be the basis for approval of this [music] drug in the US.
