Now, let's take a look at some of the stocks on the move today in Europe. I'm Lizzie Burton alongside Steven [music] Carroll and we're joined by Bloomberg reporter Tiwa Adabio. T I'm going to confess I don't know what this company does but Nemit is gaining what's driving I think that's how you say it. So it's a software company uh they specialize in AI powered solutions for architecture engineering and construction operation uh based in Germany.

They're up as much as 8.8% today and that's as we're really seeing gains across the sector. is based on this report from Reuters that the P firm Silverlake is in talks to acquire Workday. So we saw Workday shares close up 18% yesterday after those reports. Um others in the sector like SAP, Sage and Capgeemini also up today and analysts are saying that together with two other software makers that's Proof Point and Improva who have announced refinancings uh we should see a reinforcement of the recent easing of investor concerns. uh those concerns based on AI, the SAS apocalypse um that should abate and we should see gains across the sector today.

Yeah, their shares up as much as 5.9% today. That's the most in over a year. Um it's after their second quarter net income came in comfortably ahead of estimates and supported a lift to its guidance as well for the four years. We're seeing analysts praising this announcement. Morgan Stanley saying uh there strong results and the improved income guidance should be well received. Uh also saying that there's a bit further that talents could go.

Yes, Mandatum, the investment management firm, they have been downgraded to a hold at SEB equities and this is despite actually reporting earnings that topped uh expectations yesterday. Also in that announcement yesterday, they shared that they have agreed to acquire just under 80% of the shares at Swedish asset management clients for 705 million Swedish croner. Um but this downgrade does suggest that the acquisition has been priced in rather quickly especially considering the gains uh to clients shares yesterday.
