Now, let's take a look at some of the stocks on the move today in Europe. I'm Lizzie Burden alongside Steven [music] Carroll in London, and we're joined by our Bloomberg reporter, Tiwa Adabio. Tiwa, I'm going to start off with Swiss [music] quote this morning. It's slumping. Why? Yeah, we're seeing uh the online broker Swiss co down [music] as much as 12%. That's the most since May 2022 and it's after it lowered its fullear outlook uh due to weak crypto income.

But actually, apart from that, it does look like quite a strong set of results from Swiss and we're seeing analysts agree with that. One analyst at Jeffre uh saying the total net revenue was flat and it was a 4% miss versus consensus. it was entirely due to the lower crypto revenue and also saying that their client growth was actually encouraging. Uh similarly another analyst at ZKB uh saying that it was very encouraging that Swiss quote actually managed to match the very strong start it had to the previous year but again saying the volatility of crypto has had a major negative impact.

So shares down quite a lot at Swiss quote this morning due to that crypto uh income.

Okay, but a move in the opposite direction at the Dutch payments firm Ayen. What's going on there? Yeah, pretty much exactly the opposite story actually. Shares rising as much as 11%, the most since April 2025. And it's after they raised their fullear guidance. They posted better than expected net revenue growth for the second quarter. And they also announced expanded partnerships and new customer wins including OpenAI.

Um it's thought that these positives should be easing investor concerns about competition. hearing from analyst JP Morgan uh who say that the firm indicated it signed OpenAI which is actually very key because OpenAI collaborated with Aden's competitor Stripe in the past. So perhaps showing some growth in in that sector as well. Morgan Stanley also talking about that second quarter uh net revenue growth of 22%. So shares up at AENE and we also have quite a reward for Merc off the back of its results this morning.

Yeah, they're raising a fullear outlook for the second time in 7 weeks actually. Uh shares up as much as 8.3% hitting their highest level since March, significantly beating estimates in the second quarter. And analysts saying this is mainly due to higher uh freight rates rather than volumes. Uh I one analyst at Bernstein saying the beat and raised earnings guidance are largely the result of a higher realized freight rates uh which the company has suggested remain strong in the second half of the year as well.
