Well, shares of Wendy's jumping. This after the Financial Times reported that Nelson Pelletche's try and fund management preparing a bid to take the burger chain private. Bloomberg deals editor Matt Monks, you've been following this story. Wendy's has been under a lot of pressure for a variety of reasons. What exactly is Nelson Pellett up to here? So he's been in the stock, since February saying that he wants to take it private.

And so what's happening is in hat tip to the Feet, he's putting together consortium, Blue Five Group from Abu Dhabi, and an outfit called Fling Group, which is their major franchisee, to get together to line up the financing to finally take Wendy's private, which has been struggling with declining sales, rising costs, trading at a discount to, like, McDonald's.

What's really interesting about this, though, is this is kinda like a broader trend where you're seeing activists blur the line between m and a and activism.

That's exactly what they like to term. It it I mean, do we have examples of how that's worked out? Is that traditionally something that can actually be a little Oh, yeah.
