Presumably, we have a stock movers today. That's what I hear.

It's a podcast and no one does it like Alexis Christopher.

You can bet your bottom dollar we do. So, lots to choose from this morning. We have to go with some of the obvious ones. [music] Coreweave uh up 18% here premarket. One of the reasons why the AI trade seems to be back in vogue for today. Um the stock had been up 26% this year through yesterday's close. So this is a cloud computing company reporting its fifth consecutive quarter of record revenue and a sales backlog of get this $104 billion.

Um and the firm also inked more than 25 billion in new customer commitments after that period ended. So business is booming at Corewave and we're talking about serving customers like OpenAI, Meta, Microsoft. It sort of has become a bellweather really for the AI data center boom because it's one of the few companies in this space that's actually publicly traded. So it's a way that we can sort of monitor uh all of this.

And then in keeping with that space, if you will, Super Micro, um the ticker symbol there, SMCI, uh is having a good morning. It's up about 9%. And yesterday, uh, Paul, you and I were talking on, um, Bloomberg Intelligence about Super Micro, how it's underperforming its rivals. It's down 32% in the past year. Um, but we'll see. Wall Street likes what it hears today from this server company, reporting sales that nearly doubled in its fiscal fourth quarter.

Uh, surging profit. Um, revenue forecast for the current quarter. Also, uh, topping estimates. So, Super Micro has been working really hard to boost margins. It's selling more profitable profitable products. is trying to trim costs. Um so but we did talk yesterday didn't we Paul about um some issues in the seauite and governance issues. They didn't really address that on the call.

Yeah. Wuinho Bloomberg intelligence called that out for us. So um no no no news there but at least the numbers are coming through.

You guys are so insight based.

Oh yeah. Oh yeah. That's how

you had to have listened to Bloomberg Intelligence after surveillance. All right. Then I also brought us Cabba because you can never go wrong with with a food company. Mediterranean food company. Um, this stock is up 17% today. Sales rose faster than expected uh due to increased traffic and customers buying higher priced proteins.

So, it's a restaurant.

It's a restaurant. Wait a minute. That's that word protein. You hate the word protein, Paul.

Exactly. But that's how the kids roll. That's how the kids roll. So,

you just want us to say if it's chicken, it's chicken. If it's beef, it's beef. Don't call it a protein. Anyway, they have a um a pomegranate glazed salmon, which apparently is a hit.

Okay. uh with

they're they're behind the Chrysler building.

Third Avenue.

Oh, yeah.

And 45thish.

Yeah. They're all over the place.

I had not yet been to one, but the kids say they're great.

Kids say they're great. And remember, it was hurt initially by that parasitic outbreak because it scared customers off from greens at a bunch of places like Sweet Greens and Cabba. Um Cabba was not affected by this. I just want to put that out there. But it was sort of caught up in all of that. And if we have a moment, let me talk a little tax time with H&R Block. That stock also having a good morning, up about 11%.

The tax preparation company, we all know it, gave a fullear forecast, stronger than expected. Also reported fourth quarter results that beat expectations. So, good morning for H&R.

Kids Meal Cava, build your own meal. Three toppings, three classic pita chips. Nice.

A side of a quarter Peter pita chips. small juice or milk. It's like grown-up food for me.

But how much is it is the question.
