Starting today, you can submit trade signals on the S&P 500, a tradable market across every Kraken Prop evaluation and funded account. You can search “SP” in the app to find it.

The S&P 500 is not a standardized futures contract. It’s a perpetual priced off an index oracle that tracks the same 500 large-cap US companies as the benchmark everyone already watches. That means no expiry, no rollover, and no forced exit. Open a position on Friday, and it’s still open Monday.

If you trade equity indexes through a funded-account firm, this is probably already your home market. With the S&P 500 live alongside Nasdaq 100, we now carry the two symbols that anchor the futures-prop industry, without the constraints of a traditional trading calendar, all on our regulated exchange.
