Let's take a look at some stocks on the move today. I'm Tim Stenovec, along with Nora Melendez. We're joined by Bloomberg News credit reporter Emily Graffeo. Hey Emily.

All right. Well, I mean there's there's some really big movers. There's some not moving so much, but pretty big names. So, let's start with Berkshire Hathaway, a big name. It was up as much as 3% on some positive earnings. Coming a little bit down now, only up about 1%, but again, at one point hitting its highest level in over a in over 2 months. And just going through some of these results, the conglomerate said it spent about 4.5 billion to buy back its own stock in the recent quarter.

They also had gains in the manufacturing, service, and retailing division that helped lift operating earnings over the period. I mean, Wall Street tends to like this stock, so the earnings usually go well.

Been under some pressure though of late, but yeah, after this weekend, shares are higher.

Okay, another stock that's been under pressure, monday.com, ticker MNDY. This, of course, is a software company that has kind of fallen under a lot of stress as investors kind of doubt whether all the software companies that exist continue to need to exist given the disruption from AI. The shares are down about 5%. They gave a third quarter revenue forecast that was weaker than expected. I feel like the software earnings have honestly been a little bit of a mixed bag, but at least for monday.com, didn't go as well as planned.

It is. It is. Yes, I do write about credit now. Uh not stocks, but of course everything comes together um in a market and uh yeah, I mean this has been definitely something that the credit folks have been watching. Private credit just kind of dumped so much money into software names and there's been a little bit of a reckoning.

one this might not be a name that um you know, you guys have heard of. I hadn't heard of it, but the share move and the sheer just magnitude of what's going on caught my eye. 10x therapeutics ticker T E N X. The shares plummeted over 90% today. The pharma company reported uh that one of their I guess drugs failed to meet its primary endpoint of improving the six-minute walk distance versus the placebo in a trial.
