特朗普抨击国会推迟加密法案投票

We will probably have a vote on the Clarity Act, which is the digital assets uh uh bill.

It's official. The Senate has punted the vote on the crypto bill.

We'll see if the Democrats give us the votes to get on that.

This has been confirmed by Senate Majority Leader John Thun and they now say that a vote on the Cryptoclarity Act won't come until after August recess. Trump has responded. Watch today's whole video.

One of the things that Congress is wrestling with now is crypto. a big crypto bill is on the is on the uh

but by all intents of purposes this is now a hailmary because the Senate will be off for one two three four four and a half into five weeks until September. Then they'll have one week two weeks 1 2 3 4 5 3 weeks until another monthlong break. The only issue is those are the only three weeks left until the midterms. So, the reason it was such a big push in August, we needed to get this onto the floor is because the midterms are just going to be the main thing every senator is concerned about the 3 weeks that they have in session before the midterms.

Is clarity enough a big enough issue to make this a midterm priority? Well, the good thing is that the issues today that the crypto bill got pushed for are the following. what the Senate is voting on today, their last day. The Senate will hold votes on a continuing resolution to fund the federal government through the midterm election. Obviously, they're doing that. A Russian sanctions bill championed by and now named after Senator Lindsey Graham, and a group of nominations on Friday morning, the last day before it is scheduled to leave.

What's interesting is that Bitcoin didn't care. the Clarity Act got punted and Bitcoin went up. It's almost like all the sellers or the majority of the sellers that have wanted to sell over the last 10 months have already sold. We also saw some altcoins pump in response as well. I put out this video almost two weeks ago. Six crypto coins that could 10x if Clarity Act fails be ready. And also just in Bitcoin ETFs bought almost $800 million of Bitcoin this week.

That's $244 million net inflows yesterday. Sustainable demand over $64,000 Bitcoin almost as if markets were pricing this in. They priced the punt of the Clarity Act being pushed in the weeks prior. And it was a case of sell the rumor, buy the news. Bitcoin doesn't need the Clarity Act to grind higher. In fact, Bitcoin has ground higher for 16 years plus with no regulation and the two indicators we shared with you from our video about 3 days ago.

Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana will explode in August. A continuation on that. Every crypto bull run started with these two signals. The ISM manufacturing above 55 and Russell 2000 breaking out. When both happened in 2016, crypto had an an amazing bull run. When again this same setup, same setup appeared again in 2020. It sent the crypto market from around $400 billion to over $2.5 trillion. In 2025, it never happened as the ISM stayed below 50.

Now it's back. The ISM just hit 55.6 six and the Russell 2000 just reached an all-time high. Meaning the United States needs crypto regulation, but the crypto market does not need clarity for a bull market to commence. And it's worth repeating like whether or not Congress legislates crypto. We are regulating crypto. America is regulating crypto for the first time in history. This is if clarity stalls. The SEC and CFTC are already advancing project crypto, a joint regulatory effort aimed at delivering a meaningful portion of the market structure framework through rulemaking rather than statute.

It's not the same as legislation, but it's real progress. We are ready, willing, and able to come out with uh rules um you know that that address the same issues uh in clarity and and other aspects of the crypto market

because legislation would just make any rules stickier. It would be bipartisan. So the next president couldn't come back and change it again as the next president would appoint a new SEC chair, a new CFTC chair. Ultimately, we [clears throat] need the certainty of a statute that will help future proof so that we have clear direction.

But either way, they are regulating crypto in America, setting clear rules for the first time ever. That's that's happening. Senator Cynthia Lumis issued a direct statement. She was one of the biggest proprietors for the Clarity Act. In her statement, she said this. You all know me and how long and hard I fought for this bill. So, you can imagine how frustrated I am. There will be a time when I can say more. But for now, let me say this.

We've come too far to quit now. I will not give up because I believe to my core that this industry deserves to thrive with clear rules of the road on US soil, that consumers deserve to be protected from scams and have the confidence to participate in our digital economy, and that law enforcement deserves the tools they need to hold bad actors accountable. The Clarity Act is the only way we can achieve these goals. The status quo, meaning what we have now, the status quo, fails on every level, and I will not stop fighting until we fix the broken system.

I will continue working with my colleagues to get this done. The fight is far from over. I like this. But again, remember, Senator Cynthia Lumis has announced her retirement. So 2026 will be her last year in the Senate. So if this again if clarity does not happen before midterms, we start all over again. It resets with a newer a new crop of senators. President Trump, can you save us? You were asked about the Clarity Act.

I mean the ethics portion of the Clarity Act directly. Here were his thoughts.

One of the one of the things that Congress is wrestling with now is crypto. A big crypto bill is on is on the uh on the agenda. Um, Democrats want to impose ethic ethics restrictions and limit your ability to conduct cryp your family's ability to conduct crypto business while you're in office. How do you feel about that?

Well, I'll tell you, it's very interesting because Nancy Pelosi, nobody ever did that with her. And I'm not I believe crypto is very important because if we don't have it, China's going to have it. I think, you know, they all want it. Okay? And we've done a great job on it. I have we've done Biden all of a sudden at the end became very strong for it because he saw I was getting all of the business. I did it for a lot of reasons.

One of them was politics or a lot of people like they say a hundred million people worldwide and a lot of people

right

and then Biden saw what was happening or was killing them and he all of a sudden loved crypto but I do it very simply because we can't let China have it or Japan have it. Other countries really want it and we dominate in it. So to me it's very important. But they want to do a bill and in the bill they want me to be different than everybody else on the

So you're against that. It would sound like

Well, I don't mind putting it in a blind trust. I don't run my stuff anyway. I let my kids run it. But and I never even talk I never talk to them about things. If they want to go into, you know, they're not involved in government. I don't talk to them about government. I don't talk to them about much other than to say I love you kids. You know, they're good kids. But uh we don't want to see China take over crypto. I don't want to see China win with AI.

AI and crypto. Crypto is a big deal. I mean, I see it more and more where people are playing paying with Bitcoin and, you know, they don't even know about cash anymore. That takes a lot of that takes a lot of pressure off our dollar. It's a good thing for our country. But if China took over crypto, which they would love to do, or if China took over AI, which they would really, so we are leading with AI on China, nobody thought that was possible.
