Extropic has taped out Z1, a thermodynamic chip that runs 269,000 probabilistic bits on less than 1W of power.

Claims 10,000x better energy efficiency than GPUs from a chip now in fabrication.

And they also released its PyTorch equivalent for thermodynamic hardware.
