My view last year was that Uber partnering with Waymo was a bad choice… since Uber would just serve as a distribution funnel that Google needed as they scale up.

And that $NBIS Avride, other neutral players, or vertical integration would be the optimal path forward.

Now their own partner Waymo looks to be the strongest disruptor to Uber.
