Kite 推进 Agent 经济：稳定币结算、桥安全与身份治理

Last week Kite pushed the foundations of the agentic economy forward on two fronts: shipping hard infrastructure like stablecoin settlement and bridge security, while making the case on identity, governance, and payments. Here's what moved last week:

1️⃣ PYUSD0 is now live on Kite. @PayPal USD, brought omnichain by @LayerZero_Core and bridged via @StargateFinance, is now available for agents on Kite. It's a regulated, dollar-backed stablecoin that settles where agents actually transact. Stablecoins are the settlement layer for the agent economy, and they work best when they aren't locked to a single chain.

2️⃣ We hardened bridge security. We expanded our independent RPC set with @ankr, @dRPCorg, and @DwellirOfficial, holding each to the SOC 2 Type II standard we renewed this year. Independent RPC data means a DVN has to reach quorum before it attests, and layered under our multi-DVN setup on @LayerZero_Core, that's two independent security layers reinforcing each other. Chosen for reliability, not convenience: the rails for the agent economy have to be secure before they're fast.

3️⃣ Two takes from @proofoftalk at the Louvre in Paris. Co-Founder & CEO @ChiZhangData took the stage alongside @billions_ntwk, @paritytech, and @SuremarkDigital (moderated by @animocabrands) to unpack two questions: why agent identity is layered (human level, agent level, task-scope level, with verification holding at each), and why the real bottleneck is governance, not payment, where scoped, revocable control with a kill switch is the key to adoption. This is the layer Kite Agent Passport is building.

4️⃣ AI on AIR Episode 17: the agent payments problem. @harryhojinkim, CEO of @hashed_official Open Finance, sat down with @ChiZhangData. One example says it all: an agent can find a $300 Tokyo flight at 4am but still can't pay, because the system can't verify the agent is really yours, that the request is valid, or that it hasn't been hacked. The takeaway: you cannot build an agent economy without an agent currency, and a programmable stablecoin is agent-native money.

5️⃣ Ecosystem & community. Head of Ecosystem @Henryleemr joined the @Bitget_AI Hackathon S1 as a judge. Every agent needs an identity it can prove and rails it can pay on, and that's what Kite Agent Passport gives builders. We also kept the call open in Kite Discord for GKiters to share their contributions, and the future world they imagine.

Identity, payments, and governance are the foundations for agents to become real economic participants. Kite moved each of them a step forward. 🪁
