This is a Bloomberg money minute. It's a tie up that would rank as the biggest ever in the restaurant sector. The Financial Times is reporting Starbucks is exploring a takeover of Chipotle Mexican Grill, the world's leading coffee shop chain has reportedly been working with advisers in recent months. A potential takeover of Chipotle would eclipse Burger King's $11.4 billion acquisition of Canadian coffee and doughnut chain Tim Hortons back in 2014.

Microsoft is being suspended from a program to apply for green cards for H-1b visa workers. The move is the latest by the Trump administration to crack down on legal and illegal pathways to immigration, and early next year, everyone flying American Airlines ought to have reliable and super speedy in-flight internet available. The airline plans to extend Elon Musk's own Starlink satellite internet service to more than 1000.
